Interesting examples of work

Social enterprise training & awareness

For Birmingham & Solihull Social Economy Consortium I managed the production – including shooting all the still photography – of five short films about social enterprises in Birmingham.

Many organisations have used these as training films. You can view them here.

Information and support for those working with BME organisations

For brap, I edited, researched and co-wrote 'The Pied Piper' a short book examining the historical development of the BME voluntary sector and the close relationship this has had with UK race relations policy.

The Pied Piper has become an indispensable tool for those working with BME organisations.

Evaluation of innovative programmes

One of the most interesting evaluations I have recently carried out was for iSE's MarketMakers project, an innovative programme of social enterprise development to shape and unlock new markets for social enterprises in Birmingham.

The programme took place as conditions in the wider third sector were changing dramatically and key lessons were learnt about reshaping support and how enterprises can be supported to seek out and enter new markets.

Thank you to the clients that have agreed to make these examples of work available here.
